Natural Areas Conservancy Fundraiser
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an event for the Natural Areas Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration and conservation of New York City’s natural landscapes. Founded in 2012, the NAC manages over 20,000 acres of forests, wetlands, and grasslands across the five boroughs in partnership with the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation. The organization focuses on scientific research, community engagement, and sustainable management practices to enhance biodiversity and resilience. Their efforts not only protect vital urban ecosystems but also provide New Yorkers with beautiful, accessible green spaces for recreation and connection with nature.
